The First 50 Years of the World Bridge Federation — a “MUST READ”!

This masterpiece was just released (after many years in the writing and collection of material) by JAMES ORTIZ-PATINO, the Godfather of the WBF. It covers the years 1958-2008. I have just started reading it and have been mesmerized by the information I have gleaned from just the introduction and first chapter.
More to follow ….
When was this book released? How much is it? And .. who carries it? Never heard of it before, but your writeup is tantalizing.
I have gotten a couple emails similar to your comment. I am trying to get the information and relate it. For real bridge lovers, it is really fascinating and so much to be learned about the goings on with the different bridge playing countries and their views and administration.
Thank you for sharing this post…………….

Bridge has changed so much in the last 75 years (not necessarily for the best) — but the book is very candid and quite informative.
Thanks for writing.
